7 years later and they’re back at the South Parade Pier…

7 years ago, Tom Wood (Frank) and Aaron Brett (Dean) ventured on the stage at the South Parade Pier with the University Big Band to perform for the very first time as The Frank and Dean Show. Since that very first show, things have certainly gone from strength to strength for the loveable duo.

The Frank and Dean show have become synonymous with Portsmouth’s entertainment scene, performing at many regular venues across Portsmouth and Southsea. Highlights over the past 7 years have been playing for the PFC end of season dinner, the Victorious Festival and the Southsea Bandstand. However, it was after chatting to both of these guys that I really got an insight into what becomes memorable after performing together for such a long time.

” We’ve truly had some unforgettable experiences. Some of our best gigs have given us opportunities to go to places that we never thought we’d get the chance to go to. Flying out to Marbella for New Years Eve was definitely a highlight for me as well as Italy for a wedding.” Aaron Brett

” We’ve met so many amazing people doing this job, it’s great to see so many familiar faces at our shows, some that we now consider very close friends.” Tom Wood.

So what’s in store for the duo next? As well as continuing to perform at venues across the south, the pair are heading abroad again this year for a private function. In the meantime, catch them where it all began at the Gaiety Bar, Southsea on February 8th.

And the new year begins….

A quick hello from Frank and Dean.

As ever, we have been very busy gigging. 2018 holds many promising ventures for us and we hope you will continue to support us throughout the year.

We are performing a lot of private gigs this year, however do keep an eye out on our events page where we will post our public events, so you can pop down and have a sing and dance with us. We will be performing throughout the year at The Jolly Sailor, Southsea amongst other places – so come on down and see us.

See you soon!!

Busy at Frank and Dean HQ

We hope you have all had a blast this summer, we certainly have!

We have been very busy this summer, performing for a variety of different gigs across the county. We have many more private gigs this year but have made sure we have thrown in some public gigs so you can catch us at least once a month (check out our events page)!

Our summer of gigs is nearly over and we are looking forward to embracing the Fall. We’ve got a few gigs across the UK over the next month but we should be back to our local, The Jolly Sailor, very soon: so don’t forget to check in and join us!

A big hello to any new fans we have met this summer and we hope to see you soon!

Frank and Dean Show 5 Year Anniversary

Frank and Dean celebrated their 5 year anniversary party at The Jolly Sailor on March 24th. They were joined by Georgina Rose Rust, who performed with them back at the South Parade Pier on their opening night.

The evening was a huge success and Frank and Dean would like to thank everybody for supporting them over the last 5 years. Here’s to another 5!

Frank and Dean 5 Year Anniversary!

It’s been 5 years of gigging as Frank and Dean. What better way to celebrate than to celebrate in the heart of Southsea, and where we played one of our first gigs.

Frank and Dean will be hosting their 5 year anniversary show at The Jolly Sailor, Southsea on Saturday 25th March. Time TBC

This is a free event but it is advisable that you get there early if you want a table.

This will be like no other show. Dino and I will be singing some of our favourite songs from the past 5 years. As well as this, we will be joined by a number of guest singers who have performed with us at gigs over the past 5 years.

There will also be a few surprises thrown in for good measure! ‘Measure!’ that reminds me, must pour myself another Jack Daniels…..

Frank and Dean Update – 5 Year Anniversary Plans

Frank and Dean have just recovered from an absolutely awesome gig at The Jolly Sailor last night. We apologise that we started slightly later than usual but Dino forgot to put his clock forward the night before! Too busy drinking I think.

We have many exciting gigs coming up over the next few months. We are excited to be playing The Drift Bar in Southsea on April 10th. This is the first time we have had public gig in this venue and the guys at Drift have been very supportive and we thank a good friend of ours, Richard Peckham, for making this happen.

Our 4 year anniversary of The Frank and Dean passed last weekend and we can’t believe where the time has gone. Dean and I have so many memories from the past 4 years and we couldn’t remember all of them (that depended on how many drinks we had at the gig too) and we’d like to hear what your fondest memories of The Frank and Dean Show have been over the last 4 years.

We are just starting to plan our 5 Year Anniversary for next March so keep the 25th free! Watch this space for more details!

Take care and we will see you all very soon.

Frank and Dean xx
